The touring screen is usually longer and sometimes wider than the original screen to provide the rider with better protection from wind and weather. Depending on the screen angle, the rear end of the screen on some models is also tilted upwards across the entire width to act as a wind deflector. This makes riding more relaxed, even on longer tours.
